Ukrainian vyshyvanka, hand  made clothing worn by our grandmothers, has a long history. There was, however, a period when it was neglected, but these days passed away to craftswomen delight.

The American edition of The New York Times published the article "unofficial summer top", which called vyshyvanka the season trend. The authors describe this shirt as "peasant blouse," which became a "world appeal".
